No single process or technology is sufficient to address the scale of the global challenge to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Instead, it will require countries, companies and individuals to implement a variety of processes and technologies, including renewables and alternative fuels such as hydrogen energy projects. It is not a choice between renewables or alternatives such as hydrogen with CCS. All of them are needed if CO2 emission targets are to be met.
