They are difficult to compare because the effectiveness of renewables, such as wind, varies greatly from location to location. Hydrogen power has the benefit of providing base-load (continuous) power without the intermittency of some renewables. We believe hydrogen power and renewables are complementary in the sense that both deliver cleaner energy and both are needed to meet greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.
